YHI continues to be is a positive turning point for children and teens that came out of the shadows of our community as “damaged, lost or forgotten.” Because of the passion, dedication and purpose of our professional staff, volunteers and leadership:

• A child has a safe place to live.
• A shattered family has been made whole.
• A troubled teen has stayed in school, out of gangs and away from drugs.
• A baby has been given a Right Start with a loving parent.
• An 18-year-old former foster youth is now in college, preparing for a job and has the path for building a promising future.
